Scheduled Shipments
Scheduled Shipment - These Non Order reminders are designed to control two key needs.
Client Requires Scheduled Shipment
The client has established a blanket PO covering and item and has
established regular deliveries of the item.
- One step feature allows you to prepare “One” release and then tell the system how many more shipments at what frequency. When the shipment date approaches (5 Days) you are notified on the Main Menu to handle the shipment. One click and the Reminder changes into an Inventory Release. Your done!
Back Order Requiring Future Scheduled Shipment
In the event of low on a inventory item and you release less then the client requested.
- While entering the line item in an Inventory
Release simply select “Back Order” and a pop up screen will let you
quickly setup a back order based on the order you are writing. The date
the new stock is due and how many to satisfy the original request is
all you need to enter and let the system monitor the rest.
