O.E.T.S. - Distributor 2005 Enhancements

Overview

The major enhancements in this release are the platform upgrade to Access 2003, the addition of E-mail and PDF capabilities, Internet faxing, and one new product type . The upgrade to Access 2003 will make it easier for you to modify your own reports and continue to provide a stable environment compatible with current operating systems (32 bit). Other major enhancements such as refreshed QuickBooks compatibility, the addition of Order/Invoice Notes, Commission report based on Sales Rep, and many more client requested changes make this a

"Must Have Upgrade!"

Platform Upgrade - Moved to Microsoft Access 2003 (32 bit application)
Major Enhancement - * PDF and E-mail Proposals, Quotes, Orders, Acknowledgment and Warehouse Releases.
* Must be using full version of Outlook (not Outlook Express) for PDF E-mail capability.
Enhancement - Spell check option added for all fields. Accessed via F7 or Utility Menu.
Enhancement - Transfer to History - transfers by ship date.
Enhancement - Commission Rate added to Sales Rep table

Enhancement - **WinFax is no longer required for sending faxes.
Enhancement - OETS OnLine functionality integrated into program.
Enhancement - Data Validation Reporting added to Print Menu.

** Users may opt to register with Green fax (Intellifax) for e-mail based Faxing.
Quotes & Orders

Enhancement - Specialty Order and Quote returned.
Enhancement - Commercial Order and Quote enhanced.
Enhancement - New definable Additional Charge field added to Quotes and Orders.
Enhancement - Button on all order edit screens to go directly to Status Update.
Enhancement - Order Inquiry Screen – Added search functions – Customer PO and Ship To.
Enhancement - Order/Invoice Notes entered in Order Additional Charges will appear on customers invoice.
Enhancement - Order specific User Definable Additional Charges field added.
Enhancement - Combo invoice function enhanced.

Inventory

Inventory Enhancement - Bin Location added – 20 character field.
Inventory Enhancement - Bin Location report on Print Menu.
Inventory Enhancement - Inactive Inventory will be removed from warehouse when products are Inactive.
Inventory Enhancement - Reconcile Screen – Starting Numbers will default in screen.

Reports

New Report - Commission Calculated – All shipped orders for date range.
New Report - Open Orders All – report shows all Open Orders. Also located in Review Open Orders Menu.
New Report - Open Combo Orders – shows all open orders that are in combo.
New Report - Order History Detail by Ship To - allows sorting of “Shipped” Orders by Ship To Location.
New Report - Shipped Order Profitability by Sales Rep.
New Report - Inventory Reconciliation by Bin.
New Report - OnLine Inventory Items and OnLine Users for OETS OnLine customers.
New Report - Workstation Error Log.
New Report - Data Validation Report on Print Menu.

IMPORTANT SYSTEM & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

System Requirements - Link to MS Access 2003 System requirements

To run the Distributor 2005 program you will need to meet the minimum requirements set by Microsoft for the MS Access 2003 application. MS Access is NOT required to run the Distributor 2005 program.

Software Requirements - Link to MS Outlook

To utilize the E-mail function in Distributor 2005, the full version of MS Outlook 2003 (10) or later is required for all workstations sending e-mail and faxes. Outlook Express "will NOT work"! Follow the above link for system requirements and pricing information.

Optional Faxing Capability - GreenFax Service

To utilize the faxing capabilities in Distributor 2005 you will need to obtain a site license for "Send Only" fax service. Follow the above link for "Send Only" and additonal service plans.
